LONDON - A second volcano could erupt in Iceland shortly after the activity Eyjafjoell which seriously disturbed the air transport in Europe, experts warned in a report published in London.

"A short-term eruption from the volcano Katla, bigger and more powerful than the Eyjafjoell is a great opportunity," say experts at the Institute for Risk Reduction and Number of Disaster, linked to University College London (UCL).

"It is very probable that the eruptions in Iceland, moderate or major, combined with appropriate weather conditions, cause a repeat of the recent disruption of air transport," says the report.

Another document, published by the Institute of Physics in London, says that scientists have discovered that the clouds of volcanic ash that flew in Scotland recently generated an electrical charge that may have damaged the aircraft.

Eyjafjoell The volcano became active on April 14 and released huge amounts of ash on Europe, which paralyzed air traffic in the continent.
