Numbers scare: human ignorance measured in numbers ...

The Solar System completes one orbit around the center of the Milky Way every 250 million years.

250 million years to complete one revolution around the center of the Milky Way ...

And modern man has 10,000 years of recorded history ...

Anatomically modern humans have their first fossil record in Africa, about 195 thousand years

The human race would have colonized Eurasia and Oceania 40,000 years ago and the Americas there are only about 10 000 years.

There are only 200 years ago a man rode a wagon ...

Two hundred years ago a trip between Europe and the Orient by ship, it took six months.

Communicated with their peers through letter writing, animals transported in post ...

Considering that modern man has his first fossil record there are only 195,000 years, and the solar system makes a complete revolution around the center of the Milky Way every 250 million years, we have not seen anything happen, and we do not know anything.

The Sun since its formation has only between 20 and 25 laps around the Milky Way.

The planet was formed is 4.54 billion (thousand million) years, so the Earth, the Solar System with only completed 17/19 laps around the center of the Milky Way ...

A Galactic year: 250 million years ...

The fact that the solar system complete a trip around the solar system 250 million years, has the following implications;

01. Considering we have 10,000 years of recorded history, we know nothing ...

02. Whereas the history of the Solar System around the Milky Way is a totally unknown path, full of traffic comets, asteroids, stars, black holes, gas, gamma rays, other stars in the Milky Way's spiral arms ...

03. The six phases of mass extinction of life on Earth, may be related to this trip around the center of the Milky Way ...

04. "Scientists say that the events to pass through the solar system in higher density spiral arms often coincides with mass extinction events on Earth, possibly due to increased impact events caused by gravitational disturbances from nearby stars."

There are about 6,000 years, the first proto-statesdeveloped in Mesopotamia, in the Sahara / Nile and the Indus Valley.

Between 2,000 and 3,000 years ago, some states, such as Persia, India, Achin, the Roman Empire and Greece, have developed and expanded their domains by conquistade other people. Influential religions, such as ojudaísmooriginating from the Middle East, and Hinduism,a religious tradition that originated in South Asia, also increased in importance at the moment

Compare the dates mentioned above, with 250 million years ...

Motion and location within the galaxy

Motion of the barycenter of the Solar System relative to the Sun
The Sun lies close to the inner rim of the Milky Way Galaxy's Orion Arm, in the Local Fluff or the Gould Belt, at a hypothesized distance of 7.5–8.5 kpc (25,000–28,000 lightyears) from the Galactic Center,[100][101][102][103]contained within the Local Bubble, a space of rarefied hot gas, possibly produced by the supernova remnant,Geminga.[104] The distance between the local arm and the next arm out, the Perseus Arm, is about 6,500 light-years.[105] The Sun, and thus the Solar System, is found in what scientists call the galactic habitable zone.
The Apex of the Sun's Way, or the solar apex, is the direction that the Sun travels through space in the Milky Way, relative to other nearby stars. The general direction of the Sun's galactic motion is towards the star Vega in the constellation of Lyra at an angle of roughly 60 sky degrees to the direction of the Galactic Center.
The Sun's orbit around the Galaxy is expected to be roughly elliptical with the addition of perturbations due to the galactic spiral arms and non-uniform mass distributions. In addition the Sun oscillates up and down relative to the galactic plane approximately 2.7 times per orbit. This is very similar to how asimple harmonic oscillator works with no drag force (damping) term. It has been argued that the Sun's passage through the higher density spiral arms often coincides with mass extinctions on Earth, perhaps due to increased impact events.[106] It takes the Solar System about 225–250 million years to complete one orbit of the galaxy (a galactic year),[107] so it is thought to have completed 20–25 orbits during the lifetime of the Sun. The orbital speed of the Solar System about the center of the Galaxy is approximately 251 km/s.[108] At this speed, it takes around 1,190 years for the Solar System to travel a distance of 1 light-year, or 7 days to travel 1 AU.[109]
The Sun's motion about the centre of mass of the Solar System is complicated by perturbations from the planets. Every few hundred years this motion switches between prograde and retrograde.[110]
