New illiterates: ignore climate change!

A first generation of humans could not read nor write.

A second generation of humans could not work with industrial machines.

A third generation of illiterates were unaware of the use of atoms and the potential for good and for its misuse

A fourth generation of humans could not use the modern technologies of global communication: internet, web, scan.

The new illiterates of our time are those who ignore, deny or are indifferent to the consequences of climate change.

Can know everything about philosophy, but know nothing about solar flares, neutrino and magnetic shielding of the Earth.

Know all the engineering and construction of bridges, roads, modern buildings, but they ignore the dangers of the movement of tectonic plates.

Are all those who have not been warned that the Earth's core is under renovation, which occurs every 100 million years, which could mean a radical, violent and sudden conformidadeatual the terrestrial crust, known in our continent.

New climate illiterate are those who know all about art, music, politics, marketing, but they ignore the consequences of earthquakes, hurricanes, rising sea levels, melting glaciers, the rain of hail, frosts, oidação of the oceans, the hazards of volcanic ash.

New climate illiterate are those who ignore the dangers, the catastrophic consequences of uncontrolled deforestation and soil sealing cities.

The new climate illiterate are those who know all of the native language: grammar, verbs, syntax, concordances, pleonasms, antitheses and syntheses, but are unaware of the colossal forces that govern life in this small galactic spaceship, on a trip to the fantastic speed on a route astronomical collision inevitable.

The new climate illiterate are those who know all the math calculations, geometries, but they ignore the consequences of lack of water and fertile soil to feed a world population that continues to rise geométricemnte every second.

"New illiteracy" are those who dismiss the importance of forests, biodiversity, ecosystems, environmental sustainability, the importance of renewable resources and other priorities of global security, without which our technological civilization will soon fail.

Urge alphabetize all humans on the effects of climate muanças. It's a race against time, which is already exhausted.
