Gulf of Mexico: Scenario of Planetary Destruction

The oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, the worst destruction ever recorded in human history because it is a destruction that can not be rebuilt by man.

The oil in the Gulf of Mexico is infecting and destroying property and wealth that the man has no power to build or rebuild.

An earthquake of magnitude greater that destroys buildings can be rebuilt.
Destroys roads, industrial facilities and other types, but all can be rebuilt.
Even the loss of human lives can be rebuilt.

But the oil spill in an uncontrolled manner and proportions as yet unknown, are causing the following changes, with irreversible consequences of changes:

- Oxidation of the oceans, which are interconnected;

- Change the soil chemistry and water, with unknown consequences of man;
- Change water temperature, with unknown consequences;

- Changing water temperature causes the thermal alteration of the atmosphere, in proportions yet unknown;

- Amendment chemistry of ocean waters and the atmosphere, a cascade effect that causes the change of ground geophysics and the water itself;

- Changes thermal, chemical and physical proportions in all uncontrolled provocation reactions geological still unknown;

The destruction of fauna, flora, natural environments, echoes of planetary systems, it is something we can not rebuild.

Putting all the pieces of the puzzle geological, physical, chemical, physical, economic and social development, it is clear that we face a scenario without precedent in the history of mankind, with tragic consequences, and indifference remains for governments and other ógãos , institutions and private enterprise.

The issue of derramaneto oil in the Gulf of Mexico is no longer a problem for BP, but a problem of all mankind, if he is interested in the future of their own species.

President Obama and the American public are making a mistake even worse, to be demanding immediate solutions of BP.

BP already has demonstrated clearly that the technical conditions to remedy the problem, hiding the data, manipulates information, while the spilled oil remains as yet unknown proportions. The latest figures speak at 40,000 liters per day.

There is serious evidence that global action is urgently needed because the issue of oil has become a matter of global security, more menacing than nuclear energy.

This oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, beyond the issues already listed above, has implications and consequences for power coming from the sea, will have implications in healthcare, and economic implications and working conditions of fishermen.

Along with the release of oil, there is the release of gases being absorbed and propagated in the atmosphere.

Finally, we need a joint, global, involving all nations, expert technicians, coastal populations, Armed Forces, Environmental Institutions, Media, finally, the general mobilization of the whole planet Earth, for this contamination of the oceans linked, is a threat planetary, and just today, June 13, 2010, complete 55 days of indifference and incompetence in solving the most serious problem that humankind has ever faced.
